Let’s begin with how I got the “Dr.” in front of my name. I’ve always LOVED teeth. When I was six years old, I told my dentist that I was going to be a dentist just like him one day. Fast-forward to college, I was accepted to the University of Michigan on a full-tuition academic scholarship. ***Hallelujah and Go BLUE!*** I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology while completing my pre-dental requirements. I was then accepted into the University of Michigan School of Dentistry where I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
My wonderful husband, Dr. Warren Woodruff, and I first became friends in undergrad at the University of Michigan and went on to dental school together. After practicing dentistry together for many years we started our own dental practice, Caring Smiles Family Dentistry, PC, from scratch. I couldn’t ask for a better business and life partner!
I love dentistry because it uniquely combines my loves of science, art, psychology, and helping people. In what other field can all of those passions be combined into a one-hour appointment?
However, I have many other interests, such as acting, outside of dentistry that I actively pursue. That is how What Are You More Than was born.
